New DelhiUnder the agreement reached on the Line of Actual Control i.e. LAC in Eastern Ladakh, soldiers of both the countries will feed sweets to each other on Diwali on October 31, amid preparations for the withdrawal and patrolling of the Indian and Chinese armies. After this, the details of patrolling will be decided through talks. It is noteworthy that the process of withdrawal of Indian and Chinese armies from Depsang plain and Demchok has been completed.

After this, on Thursday, October 31, on Diwali, soldiers of China and India will feed sweets to each other. It has been told that soon there will be talks between military commander level officers regarding border patrolling as before i.e. before April 2020. It is noteworthy that only after several rounds of talks at the military commander level, an agreement was reached to withdraw the troops of both the countries and start patrolling again.

It is noteworthy that the news of the agreement between India and China was given by the government on October 21. After that the withdrawal of troops started from 25 October. After this, regarding the agreement, Foreign Minister S Jaishankar had said on October 27 that withdrawal of troops is the first step. The next step is to reduce stress. He said- This tension will reduce only when India is convinced that China also wants the same. After reducing tension, how to manage the border will be discussed.

However, Indian and Chinese armies began retreating from the eastern Ladakh border on Friday, October 25, and the process was completed by Wednesday, October 30. After this there will be discussion about patrolling. It is being told that a limited number of soldiers has been fixed for patrolling. Military commander level officers will hold talks in this regard. It is noteworthy that after the violent clash between the soldiers of India and China in Galvan Valley in June 2020, tension had increased between the two countries.
