Suffocating, no one is accountable!

Now the time for politics of taking responsibility is over and in its place the time for politics of taking credit has come. Leaders do not take responsibility for any failure. But if the rains improve, they come to take credit for that too. If water gets accumulated in the city due to that rain then no one will be responsible for it. Think, once upon a time the basic condition of democracy was the principle of collective responsibility. India has adopted democratic governance on the Westminster model of Britain. The Christine Keeler scandal took place there in 1963. British government minister Lord John Profumo had a relationship with a model named Christine Keeler, some pictures related to which were published in the media. After this controversy, not only the minister but the government of Prime Minister Harold Macmillan had to resign. But now even in Britain there is no collective responsibility and in India we have not adopted this principle since independence.

Despite this, governments took responsibility. There was talk of failure of governments. The common man became angry and agitated over the failures of the government and the agitations led to resignations of leaders, if not because of morality. But now the governments do not take any responsibility and on some basis or the other the Indian society has become so divided that thousands, lakhs of people stand all the time in support of even the most ineffective government. Another phenomenon is that all parties are winning elections by distributing free goods and services. That’s why they don’t do any other work and people also don’t hold them responsible for any work. Every month, 200 units of electricity and 21 thousand liters of water are free in Delhi. Also, women are getting free travel in DTC buses. So, Delhi government does not need to do anything now. He doesn’t even have to worry about providing clean water and clean air.

Think, in the month of October the air quality index i.e. AQI in Delhi is above three hundred. People are suffocating. The number of patients with respiratory diseases is increasing in hospitals but the Delhi government is not worried about it. The situation was similar in the winter of last year and when asked what the government did throughout the year to prevent the same from happening this year, the Chief Minister and other ministers of the Delhi government are blaming the BJP governments of the neighboring states. They are not holding themselves responsible from any aspect and are not even holding their own government of Punjab responsible. Now the entire responsibility lies with the governments of Uttar Pradesh and Haryana, where the BJP is in power. Earlier, until the Aam Aadmi Party government was formed in Punjab, the Punjab government was blamed for stubble burning and increasing pollution. But now for the past three years the Punjab government has also been relieved of all responsibilities.

Think, how shameless it is that Delhi Chief Minister Atishi said that Yamuna water in Delhi is dirty because the BJP governments behind are releasing dirty water into Yamuna. The question is that if the Haryana government is releasing dirty water then why is there no issue of Yamuna’s filth in Haryana or why foam is not forming in the water of Yamuna in Haryana? So should it be believed that the Haryana government keeps the Yamuna clean here but when it enters Delhi, it makes its water dirty? There is no doubt that when water is released from Uttar Pradesh into Hindon Barrage, it also contains dirt from sugar mills and other industries, but this is not the only factor responsible for the death of Yamuna in Delhi. Recently, a report came in which it was told that the amount of sewage coming into the Yamuna water in Delhi through sewerage has increased 13 hundred times more than the prescribed standard. Think, how much water treatment plants would be able to clean it? Experts have declared Yamuna in Delhi dead, which means that no aquatic animal can survive in the water here. There was filth in Yamuna earlier also, but in the 10 years of Arvind Kejriwal’s party’s rule, Yamuna has become dead. Despite this, instead of taking responsibility, the government people are blaming the neighboring states.

Similarly, in the month of October, people are suffocating but the Delhi government is acting as if it has no responsibility in this. The Chief Minister shamelessly said that pollution in Delhi has increased due to the smoke coming from vehicles coming from neighboring states. It was also said that pollution has increased due to burning of stubble by farmers of Uttar Pradesh and Haryana. Clean chit has been given to Punjab’s own party government. Earlier, even during the Corona epidemic, when people were not getting space in the hospitals of Delhi and people were dying due to lack of oxygen, the Aam Aadmi Party government had said that patients from neighboring states were coming and filling the hospitals. Are. So, the basic mantra of this government is that accountability should not be taken for anything and one should keep fighting 24 hours with the Lieutenant Governor and the Central Government for the rights.

It is not that only Aam Aadmi Party is doing politics of not taking responsibility. The central government is also working in a similar manner. She has also been freed from every kind of accountability. Examples of many incidents can be given in this matter but the example of train accidents is the most recent. Now, wherever a train accident occurs, it is immediately said that there is a conspiracy behind it. Earlier, when an accident occurred, there was information about the dead and injured, there was news about compensation, there was information about cancellation of trains or change in routes and accountability was fixed. But now the first news comes that there has been a conspiracy to derail the train or cause a collision. Ever since the new Railway Minister came and there was some criticism regarding his reel making, the element of conspiracy has been added to every accident. Right now, threats of placing bombs in planes are coming one after the other. But this too is being termed as a foreign conspiracy to weaken India’s aviation sector. Since the public also voted in exchange for free rabble, it also has no moral right to hold the governments accountable.
