Tirupati temple dispute political or economic?

It is generally believed that the controversy going on regarding the Laddu Prasadam of Tirupati temple of Andhra Pradesh is a controversy of faith. But along with faith, the aspect of politics and economy is also involved in it. The Chief Minister of the state Chandrababu Naidu alleged that the ghee used for making laddus during the government of Jagan Mohan Reddy had fish oil and animal fat in it. Such a claim has been made after examining the sample of ghee of a company. However, a discussion has also started regarding this that if Naidu’s government felt so, then it would have quietly got it investigated and started using real ghee. But he has used it for political gain.

It is being said that this is being used for Hindu polarization in Andhra Pradesh. It is a different matter that there is no election going to be held immediately. It is being propagated that Jagan Mohan Reddy believes in Christianity and hence he has done something that breaks the faith of Hindus. However, there is no evidence that something like this has been done deliberately or by the government. Meanwhile, discussions have also started regarding its economic aspect. As soon as this incident was revealed, the Chandrababu Naidu government announced that now Nandini brand ghee will be used in Tirupati temple. Nandini brand ghee is made by Karnataka Milk Federation. Last year, before the assembly elections, Gujarat-based Amul brand had announced the supply of its milk and curd in Karnataka. There was a huge controversy over this. It was being said that BJP wants to end Nandini brand by establishing Amul. Now the same Nandini brand has got the full contract of supplying ghee in Tirupati temple.
