In a news briefing on Friday, acting director Ronald Rowe referred to a ‘lack of clarity’ on the part of the Secret Service in security planning for Trump’s rally. Rowe said, “It is important that we hold ourselves accountable for the failures of July 13 and use the lessons learned from it in such a way that we do not fail again.” Two months after this incident, Trump had to face such circumstances again on Sunday at a golf course in Florida. During this, a man was arrested for attacking the former president. This happened when Secret Service Agents saw a rifle barrel in the bushes. However, Trump was not harmed in this incident. Just days after the second assassination attempt, the US House of Representatives on Friday unanimously approved a bill aimed at increasing Secret Service protection for presidential candidates and vice presidential candidates.
