The country’s first Vande Metro train is going to be inaugurated today. Vande Metro train will be inaugurated by PM Modi today. But just before the inauguration, the name of this train was changed to Namo Bharat Rapid Rail. Now this train will be known by the new name Namo Bharat Rapid Rail. Prime Minister Narendra Modi is going to inaugurate this train on 17 September.
Namo Bharat Rapid Rail will run for the first time in the country between Bhuj in Gujarat and Ahmedabad. Earlier, the name of RRTS train was changed from RapidX to Namo Bharat Rapid Rail. This train will run between Meerut and Delhi. Recently, Prime Minister Modi had also inaugurated it in Ghaziabad.

Central Government and Railway Ministry gave approval
The Central Government and the Railway Ministry have approved the renaming of the Vande Bharat Metro Train. According to railway officials, Namo Bharat Rapid Rail has been built on the lines of Vande Bharat Express trains. However, these trains will run for short distances in different parts of the country. Currently, the first train of this category is being launched between Ahmedabad and Bhuj in Gujarat.
According to officials, these short distance trains will operate like EMU (Electric Multiple Unit), but there will be a major difference between these two types of trains – Namo Bharat Rapid Rail will be provided with state-of-the-art facilities and its speed will also be very high, which will give passengers a fast and comfortable travel experience.
