New Delhi. Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar has targeted the statements made by Congress leader Rahul Gandhi in America. Rahul Gandhi, who went on a three-day visit to America, had made a comment on reservation, in which he said that when discrimination ends in India and everyone gets equal opportunity, then reservation will end. There has been a controversy over this statement of his for many days. The Vice President has also commented on this.
In a program organized in Parliament House on Thursday, Dhankhar said that every Indian living outside the country will have to become an ambassador of this nation. He said- I am sad and troubled that some people sitting on the post do not know anything about India. Without taking the name of Rahul Gandhi, he said- How sad it is that a person sitting on a constitutional post is doing exactly the opposite. Nothing can be more reprehensible, disgusting and intolerable than becoming a part of the enemies of the nation.
The Vice President said that some people do not understand the value of freedom. They do not understand that the civilization of this country is five thousand years old. He said- The constitution of our country is sacred. Some people want to divide our country. This is extreme ignorance. It is worth noting that Rahul Gandhi had made a statement about Sikhs during his visit to America and there have been protests in the country on that. Also, questions have been raised on his meeting with Ilhan Omar, a member of the US Congress considered anti-India, and diplomat Daniel Lew.
