Chandigarh. Voting ended at 6 pm on all 90 assembly seats in Haryana. Voting was conducted peacefully. According to the preliminary data of the Election Commission, more than 61 percent voting took place. However, till the end of voting, people were standing in queues everywhere. Only then can the voting figures increase. Earlier in the 2019 assembly elections, there was more than 68 percent voting.

In the voting held on Saturday, the highest 66.28 percent voting took place in Nuh, while the lowest voting took place in Gurugram at 49.97 percent. The results will come on October 8. There were reports of sporadic violence at some places during voting. There were disputes at three places during voting in Nuh. Stone pelting broke out between supporters of Congress, INLD and BSP and independent candidates. Two people have been injured in stone pelting. On the other hand, Vinesh Phogat, Congress candidate from Jind’s Julana, has denied the allegations of booth capturing. He said that polling is being done honestly. Visited many villages and found no such complaint anywhere. Earlier in the morning, BJP candidate Captain Yogesh Bairagi had accused Congress of booth capturing. Electronic Voting Machine, EVM got damaged in Palwal, which had to be replaced.
