Who will become the Chief Minister of Delhi

New Delhi. After Arvind Kejriwal announced his resignation from the post of Chief Minister, discussions have started about who will become the Chief Minister of Delhi in his place. Kejriwal, while announcing his resignation, said that he will not become the CM till the assembly elections. But if the party wins the assembly elections to be held in February next year, then he will become the Chief Minister again. In this way, he has made it clear that the new Chief Minister will be appointed for less than five months. He said that in two to three days there will be a meeting of the legislative party and a new leader will be elected.

The names of many ministers of the Delhi government are being discussed for the post of Chief Minister. According to informed sources, any one of Atishi, Kailash Gehlot, Gopal Rai and Saurabh Bhardwaj can become the CM. The name of the Chief Minister’s wife Sunita Kejriwal is also being discussed. But Kejriwal would not like to take any risk just before the elections. It is being said that to attract Jat votes in the Haryana Assembly elections, he may make the move of making Kailash Gehlot the CM.

However, while addressing the leaders at the Aam Aadmi Party office on Sunday, Arvind Kejriwal demanded early elections. He said- Elections are in February, I demand that elections be held in November. Elections should be held along with Maharashtra. I will not take responsibility until your decision comes. Someone else from the Aam Aadmi Party will become the Chief Minister.
