Will you retire Nitish?

Are preparations being made to retire Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar? The State Working Committee meeting of Nitish Kumar’s party Janata Dal U was held in Patna on Saturday, October 5. Before this meeting, posters and hoardings of awarding Bharat Ratna to Nitish Kumar were put up in front of the party office and in other parts of Patna. JDU leaders demanded to give Bharat Ratna to their national president Nitish Kumar. The most interesting thing is that the Bharatiya Janata Party immediately welcomed it. State BJP leaders said that there is no problem in this. That means Nitish should get Bharat Ratna.

Keep in mind that on January 26 this year, on the occasion of Republic Day, former Chief Minister of Bihar and leader of extremely backward community Karpoori Thakur was honored with Bharat Ratna. At the time when Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced this, Nitish Kumar was with Rashtriya Janata Dal, but at the same time it was decided that now he will change the alliance and form the government with BJP. In the same way, with the demand for giving Bharat Ratna to Nitish Kumar, it is being said that if he gets this highest civilian honour, it means that he will retire from active politics. After that, questions are also being raised on whether his party will continue to exist or not. Now the question is whether Nitish himself is seeing this as his retirement plan and is ready to retire? The second question is who is taking decisions in such matters in his party? This question arises because if this happens then it will definitely be under the plan of BJP.

According to informed sources, Nitish Kumar’s party is also being run by the BJP these days. There was a time when Bihar BJP was also run by Nitish Kumar but today due to his health he is not completely in command of the party. That’s why his party is being run by people who are either ideologically close to the BJP or who are forced by the central agencies to support the BJP and work according to the BJP. That’s why it is being said that even though posters and hoardings demanding Bharat Ratna for Nitish Kumar have been put up across Patna by Janata Dal U, the idea behind it is BJP’s. It is being said that the idea was given by BJP to those people who are currently the leaders of Janata Dal U. He then directed the party leaders and workers to make such a demand. After that Nitish reached the meeting of his party’s working committee, where he said that NDA will win more than 2010 seats in the elections next year. It is noteworthy that in 2010, NDA had got 206 seats out of 243. It seems that to answer the challenge raised by Prashant Kishor, it was said that winning more than 2010 seats was said. In 2010, the contest was head-to-head and it was the golden time of Nitish’s politics of good governance. Now he, his party, the government are all on the decline and Prashant Kishore has emerged as the third force.
