Since the start of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in 20 years, India has decreased by 12% in the death rate of children under the age of five. Which exceeded 33% in South Asia and 14% worldwide.
The death rate of the newborn has decreased by 39%, which is 28% for South Asia and better than 11% worldwide.
