Cutting American Assistance, HIV Resistance Attempts, Warning for Battle of UNAD

The administration of US President Donald Trump, after the ban on all types of foreign aid funds, said that humanitarian works, including HIV treatment, were discounted to save lives.

According to UNAIDS Executive Deputy Director Christine Stageling, this discount will take drugs for HIV treatment, for which funds have been provided to the United States. Three million people are living in the state of HIV around the world.

There is a possibility that governments from different countries around the world will support current treatment projects after the US announces. However, it is also concerned that the attention of the governments will be in continuous treatment with the people, not to prevent new infections.

The global war against HIV is dependent on financial support from the United States, which is called the US President’s Emergency Plan (PEPFAR) for AIDS relief. Through this, 70 percent of the total amount allotted to compete with AIDS contributes to 70 percent.

A program called Pepfar was established on the 21st, under which HIV resistance, treatment, care and assistance programs helped save 2.6 million lives.

Executive Deputy Director Stageling says that foreign aid restrictions are confused about the HIV program discount on the ground level, especially in understanding how it will be implemented.

UNAIDS says that American support sanctions have also influenced transport services and community health services.

Impact on community services

UN Agency is trying to combine with 70 countries to deal with HIV. The company warns that many health centers will be closed due to the closure of communities programs and the abolition of many employees will be deprived of this important support.

There is a possibility of maximum impact on community health services, which has been proven to be an important pillar in the fight against HIV.

More than 5,000 public health workers in Ethiopia are dependent on American assistance, all of which have been canceled. Also, 10 thousand data clerk, whose role is very important.

Thousands of women, young girls and other population groups, the risk of being subjected to sexual infection, condom distribution, HIV tests, antiratroviral treatment, TB examination and other additional-real services will not be able to get.

UNAIDS has expressed concern that the long -term impact on American assistance will continue to prevent new conversion cases, since these services are community -based, and the attention of the governments of the countries has been infected instead of new resistance.

Bounce in death

The United Nations Agency has warned that if Pepfar does not extend from 2021 to 2021 and new resources against HIV have not been arranged, AIDS may lead to 5 percent of death due to AIDS.

The Executive Deputy Director of UNAIDS says that this image can be reached for 63 million people, that is, 63 million people.

The UN Agency says efforts to fight HIV will continue within 90 days during the ban and all the victims will be provided life -efficient services.
