Despite Israel's 'support breaks' in Gaza, starvation children

In a regular press conversation in New York on Wednesday, UN deputy -leader Farhan Haque said that four days after Israel’s announcement, “I am still seeing more deaths because of the accidents and hunger and malnutrition of people who are still seeking help.”

The spokesperson said that parents were “fighting to save their hungry children” and warned that the current conditions of the support material supply are “not enough”.

The United Nations Coordination Office (OCHA) says that during the one -sided breaks announced by Israel’s TE, every available opportunities are being used to provide supporting materials, but the opportunity to supply more than current assistance.

Deputy -legendary Farhan Haque said, “Permanent ceasefire is more needed than ever.”

He emphasized that “unilateral assistance stops are not allowing the flow of materials to supply the materials to meet heavy demand in Gaza.”

Reaching is very difficult

There are huge barriers to reach the needy for the supply of support materials.

Carmeme Shelom/Karma Abu Salem requires various levels of approval from Israeli officials, including trucks, safe passage, bombs and open doors, filled with assistance materials for admission from the border border.

Deputy Leopard Farhan Haque said, “Three approved missions on Tuesday were allowed to collect support material from Karme Shelm and Zikim border outposts where food was filled. Also, it was allowed to supply fuel to Gaza.”

“However, other missions had to face obstacles, especially Israeli officials delayed the green signal to move forward and a mission had to be canceled.”

Children suffer from hunger

UNICEF’s Communications Manager Ricardo has returned from Gaza and he has said similar situation.

He told the UN News, “The situation is absolutely destructive. Children are trying to get food and assistance as well as trying to get malnutrition and hunger and are being injured.”

Ricardo Pieces said that according to the latest warnings of food security experts in Gaza, two of the three criteria were completed.

UNICEF and other companies are also fighting the infrastructure decline.

Endless series for kids

“We are at the doorstep of human -made drought,” Ricardo Pies said. Only 40 percent of the water production is working, and children are turning into contaminated sources, thus the risk of spreading fatal diseases.

He said, “Children are fighting a lot of water shortage in themselves, they are drinking contaminated water, so that they will become ill, due to the outbreak of severe diseases or diarrhea, and in some cases they will become ill in meningitis.”

“This situation is the endless series of suffering for children.”
