The country is acceptable
The draft of the agreement confirmed the national sovereignty of the countries in public health decisions. It is clearly stated that there is nothing in the agreement that gives the right to provide health to ponds, vaccination campaigns or for a country.
Now the draft will be presented for the concept of the UN highest platform for global health – the World Health Assembly, whose upcoming meeting is set to begin on May 7.
If the draft is adopted at this meeting, it requires support of different countries.
According to the report, the United States did not participate in the final round after the announcement of the withdrawal from the Global Health Body (INB) in January, so the country will not be bound by this agreement.
