Doctor Hansa Mehta is the same person who played an important role in preparing human rights Universal Manifesto (UDHR) in the first days of the UN formation.

Hansa Mehta, a UN Human Rights Commission doctor, was the only female member in the United States Allenor Roosevelt.
In the article – 1 of the universal declaration of honorable rights, men were named to represent the whole humanity, which wrote – “All men are independent and equal.”
Doctor Hansa Mehta proposed to write and write this phrase – “All human beings are distinct and equal.”
This inclusive language proposed by Dr. Hansa Mehta was not only acceptable, but this change is considered as a milestone for gender equality and women’s rights.

In 76, Hansa Mehta led the rights of Indian women at the All India Women’s Conference (AIW).
It demanded civil rights in India with gender equality and justice for them.
In the Indian Constitution, many provisions of these women’s rights certificates became based on many gender fair provisions.
Dr. Hansa was a member of the Mehta Committee which drafted the Indian Constitution, as well as a member of the Advisory Committee on fundamental rights.
