Manusco said in a statement issued on July 7 that all parties had committed to prefer a peaceful solution, establish a ceasefire, set up a general system for implementation and create.
“This declaration is an important turn towards strengthening stress and ensuring the protection of the people who are affected by conflict,” Manusco’s acting chief and DRC general secretary Bruuno Lemriki said.
He requested all parties to implement this agreement with quick and honestly.
The agreement discusses many important measures, including voluntary, safe and respectful withdrawal of the inherent displaced persons and refugees.
At the same time, it has been asked to promote inclusive conversations, so that the root causes of the struggle can be understood and overcome and the progress of permanent peace can be made.
Earlier this year, M23 launched an attack on north and southern Kivu provinces, where big cities like goma and boobs were caught.
Thousands of people were killed in this violence, were displaced by millions, and serious incidents of human rights violations were revealed.
The announcement of Doha has been published less than a month after the peace agreement signed by the Congo and Rwanda. However, the Congolese government has long been accused of supporting Rwanda M23 for a long time.
Manusko’s statement also noted that the manifesto emphasized the protection of the citizens, strengthen the ceasefire and established a joint observation system.
The mission also reiterated the active role and significance of Manusco and other partners in this process.
At the end of the statement, Manusco applied for all the concerned parties to follow their promises honestly, protect human rights and prioritize the protection and desire of the fog in every decision.
‘Important Steps toward Sustaining Peace’
UN Secretary -General Antonio Gutresh also welcomed the announcement. His spokesperson Stepan Duzrik said in a statement published on Sunday that it showed the Round Round to the declaration, permanent peace, protection and the return of the displaced.
He also praised the Qatar government’s role throughout the process and said that the DRC would continue to cooperate fully with the UN, national, regional and international partners in an attempt to promote peace, civil protection and stability.
The UN general secretary has applied for the implementation of this agreement quickly and effectively to all parties.
