Under this promotion, each house was trained to provide clean and safe water and protect them from water -stricken diseases, five women in the village were trained to test water. Ramkumari was also a part of this group.
However, it was not easy to fulfill this responsibility. Initially people used to laugh and joke – “What will it do?”
However, Ramkumari worked hard and started his work. After the water examination, he updated his investigation report on the official portal, attended the Panchayat meeting and advised his quality of water. The special thing is that now the panchayat does not listen to their suggestions, applying them.
They get 20 rupees for each water test, which causes their income to increase. However, they have a real pride that due to their hard work, the diseases caused by water in the village are now ending. Now the pure water has reached every house.
Ramkumari said, “I got a new enthusiasm with UNOPS Now people look at me with respect, call me by name. At first where it was difficult to dream, the same dreams are now becoming true.
