The UN headquarters on campus, the northern lawn was once again converted into a yoga studio in the open air, and the open sunlight welcomed people interested in joining after a few days of clouds and rain surrounded by clouds.
Representatives from different countries, UN officials, employees and other parts of New York participated here, who participated in the process of better physical, mental and spiritual health in the process.
Peter Rosina was the founder of a project called Shanti Prakash Prakash and had a pleasant experience for him to come to the UN headquarters for this session. He recalled the program organized in 2019 when the Yoga session was held at the UN Mahasabha Hall due to rain.
“I like the opportunity to yoga with such a huge number of people. There is a lot of energy here … and my son has come with me too. I am shocked to give him this experience.”

Buddhist teacher Lama Arya Dralma has also arrived at the United Nations every year to participate in the yoga program. After modeling in the corporate world, he is now on his way to internal peace and mediation.
He said, “When I was growing up in India, Yoga used to Asan. It touched my soul not only my body. It is helpful in meditation. I consider yoga to be healthy alternatives through which we can take care of our health.”
Earth, a health
Yoga’s message goes beyond personal welfare and it can play an important role in combining the health of the whole world.
The program was organized on this international day with the UN Secretariat in India’s Permanent Mission in the United Nations, which has the main theme: Earth, Yoga for health.
India’s Permanent Representative, Ambassador P. Harish said in his message that Yoga reflects an important truth. Personal welfare and health of our planet, attached to the depth between them.
“We take care of the world in taking care of ourselves, and this permanent Indian standard shows Vasudhiva Kutumbakam that the whole world is a family.”
“This eleventh edition of Yoga Day, provides an opportunity to think about how yoga has emerged as the power of world welfare, which has touched the age groups, geographical regions and every subject of life.”

Anand Radhika Acharya, the sister of Anand Marg Mahila Kalyan Center, says that yoga is more than just practice. It is a means of attaching yourself to nature and the whole world.

The program lasted about an hour and a half, where the addition of the Art of Living experts said the pranayama technology, various yoga posture and anger to the people. One of the main attractions of the session is Deepak Chopra, who preached an overall approach to health, who conducted a meditation session.
