Protection Council: Terrorist attacks in Pahlagam in Jammu and Kashmir

At least 26 people were killed and many others were injured in the attack on tourists at Basran Valley in Pahalgam on Tuesday.

The Security Council on Friday revisted in a press statement with the six member states that terrorism is among all its forms and expressions in the most serious threat to international peace and protection.

Member countries of the Security Council have expressed deep sympathy and condolences to the families of the victims, the Indian government, the Nepal government. He wants to be healed as soon as possible.

The Protection Council has mentioned the need for the accountability of the culprits of the ‘blasphemous terrorist law’, to those who hold their accountability and to call them justice.

Emphasize

The Protection Council has called for all member states to fulfill the obligations of the International Law and the relevant Protection Council. Also, all the relevant administrative agencies have actively emphasized cooperation.

The Protection Council mentions that any terrorist act is a criminal that cannot be justified, even if it has been run from any place, anywhere.

The Protection Council has emphasized that all countries need to deal with terrorist attacks for international peace and protection.

The move must be accepted according to the UN Charter, International Law, International Human Rights Law, International Refugee Law and Human Law.

Attack on ordinary citizens is unacceptable

Earlier, UN spokesman Stepan Duzarik on Thursday responded by a question asked by a journalist at the New York headquarters that the general secretary condemned the terrorist attacks in Jammu and Kashmir on April 22, where many ordinary citizens were killed.

General Secretary Gutresh mentioned that the target attacks by ordinary citizens could not be taken under any circumstances.

He said that the UN chief was not directly contacted by the two countries, but he was concerned about the current situation and kept a close eye on developments.

The UN spokesman has applied for the maximum restraint to India and Pakistan and to ensure that the situation is not worsened.
