Sudan: Attack on ordinary citizens, death without hearing

From April 2021, the violent conflict between the Armed Forces and the paramilitary forces (RSF) continued in Sudan, causing a large -scale humanitarian crisis and thousands of people were killed.

Human Rights High Commissioner Turk has given it an irrational war, which is proven to be extremely dangerous to ordinary citizens. There are also cases of targeting people and killing people on the basis of ethnicity.

According to a statement published by the United Nations Office on Friday, at least seven people, including a woman, were killed in seven different incidents on January 25. The incident is from Sudan’s third largest city from Khartum North, where the Sudanese armed forces have once again established control.

Most of these victims are reported to have come from Darfur and Cordofan regions. Bholkar Turk said that this incident took place in Al Jazeera province this month before he was killed without a hearing, which is very annoying.

“These murders cannot be normalized. To intentionally kill a citizen or person who is not part of the conflict, this is a war crime.

Threatening to online mediums

A video footage published by the United Nations Office on January 5 is also being investigated, while reading the names of the people of the armed forces uniforms and members of the Al -Bara bin Malik Brigade, while reading the names of the RSF forces in the north, they are talking about their killings.

Meanwhile, there is also the threat of violence. In a video, members of the same brigade threatened to kill the residents of Al -Hadz Yasif of the East Nile. It is a region in the north of Khartum, where Darfur and Cordophone people live mainly.

On the other hand, in other parts of Sudan, ordinary citizens are being attacked by RSF forces. A camp was given a bomb on January 26 for al -Fashar in northern Darfur and 9 civilians were killed.

Human Rights High Commissioner Bholkar has called on all the warning groups to protect ordinary citizens and respect international humanitarian and human rights laws.

He says that these events need to be investigated independently under international standards, so that accountability can be determined.
