The UN team recently visited the Syrian capital Damascus, described as a step towards the path to the truth.

Several million Syrian, dependent on help

According to an estimate, about 1.6 million people in Syria depend on human assistance before the fall of former President Bashar al-Assad. There was economic distress in the country and lack of people’s livelihoods.

According to the United Nations Office (OCHA) for coordination in humanitarian assistance case, five trucks entered North -West Syria last week, with 5 tonnes of food items with 90,000 people.
