“I am especially happy to come to Bangladesh at this important moment of your country’s national journey at the moment,” Antonio Gutresh said.
He also recognized the expectations of the people of the country, the chief adviser to the provisional government of Bangladesh and the leadership of more democracy, justice and prosperity.
It is noteworthy that Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina resigned after the protest in August (2021) under the leadership of the students for several weeks and left the country. Bangladesh is going through the infection period.
More than 300 people, including several children, were killed and more than 20,000 were injured in the brutal action taken by the country forces over the protest.
Sheikh Hasina came to power from January 25. He was also the Prime Minister from 1996 to 20.
