The UN Mahasabha President's visit to India, emphasized on digitization

The President’s visit to India, the President of the Mahasabha, was one of his major priorities – ‘Digitization focuses on transmitting new energy for sustainable development.’

Speaker of the State General Assembly Filmon Young February praised “India’s extraordinary progress in digital change and the promise of the country in the country” in February in India.

During the meeting with President Draupadi Murmu in New Delhi, Filmon Young confirmed India’s promise to increase the global South and India’s commitment to take continuous action on UN priorities.

Philome Young also discussed the need for a meeting with Indian Foreign Minister Dr. S Jayashankar, strengthen UN cooperation, resolved global challenges and improved multilateralism.

He, who was working in India under the leadership of the United Nations Shabbi Sharp in India in New Delhi, met with the heads of various UN agencies and received information about UN activities in the country.

Later, he reached Gautam Buddha city to take stock of a health center run by the United Nations Environment Program (UNDP).

Here he reviews top digital health programs such as Evin, Cowen and India’s Yun-Win.

He interacted with the front -line health workers and received information on how technology assistance was being received to increase health care access.

Philome Young himself offered a floral wreath at Mahatma Gandhi’s tomb in Delhi.

Also, the UNESCO World Heritage Site has visited the famous ‘Humayun’s Mokbar’.

He also visited Bangalore’s technology -rich city after Delhi, President Philome Young, General Assembly.

He received information in Bengaluru with the leaders of the technical industry in Diziloker, meeting, Aadhaar card, UPI and financial inclusion.

The Speaker of the General Assembly also reviewed permanent programs of the Indian Science Institute (IISC).

During the visit to India, the speaker of the General Assembly met with the heads of the UN agencies in India.
