The executive director of the ITC, Pamela Coke-Hamilton said, “Whenever a new hub opens, he becomes part of a huge network, which gives him the most advantage.”
“Especially because the existing center has already felt the experience of training 4,500 female entrepreneurs and helped them follow their business with new sales of several million dollars.”
These latest centers, female entrepreneurs will provide the necessary skills, access to the market and female entrepreneurs. Its purpose is to encourage women’s participation worldwide.
A top ITC official said, “This is a movement that will be fast every year, it is helping to spread the rights, equality and empowerment of all their women and girls with the rise of each center.”

On this occasion, India’s UN resident coordinator Shambi Sharp said, “The establishment of the Sheetreds Center in India, the International Trade Center (ITC) and the long-term partnership between India have a new milestone to encourage this important issue, a new dimension of India-un partnership.
In New Delhi, the ‘Shetreads’ Hub will be organized by the Federation of Export Company (FIEO) and the center of Colombo is being launched with the Sri Lanka Export Development Board partnership.

Last year, India exported $ 810 billion and Sri Lanka exported $ 16.17 billion. However, female businessmen will have to face countless challenges for access to international markets, finance and business development resources.
In such situations, training, coaching, market connection and policy support will be provided through these centers, so that the road can be easier for female entrepreneurs across the country.
So far, the ‘Sheetreds’ hubs have been established in Asia, Africa, Latin America, the Caribbean region and the Middle East and North Africa.
