In fact, Sharon was posted as a military gender advocate in the UN Interim Protection Force (UNISFA) from which his UN peaceful journey began.
There, Sharon met some members of the local community, including both men and women, as well as both men and women. In a short time, he felt that there was something that would not look normal.
Sharon told the United Nations, “The women of this party were not talking about anything. He was absolutely silent.”
He then noticed that according to local traditions, women do not speak in the public place.
Sharon took these women on one side and said, “We are women like you. We want to help you, but we don’t know how to help you.”
“Can you tell us what your problem is so we can find ways to help you” “
In communities, on the occasion of the International Shantijay Divas on May 27th, the same attitude is honored every year on the occasion of the International Shanti Shakti Divas, on the occasion of burning the flame of confidence and giving importance to women’s attitude.
Now, with this award, two women are interested and constructively honored to assist with two women similar, one of which is Sharon and the other female peacekeeper Sierra Leon. Chief Superintendent Zainab Malu Gabal Are.
Sharon is being given the UN Military Gender Advocate Award and Zaynab Award for the extraordinary peacekeeping work in Unisfa.
Sexual attitude
The UN Women’s Police Officer Award was launched in 20 and the United Nations Military Gender Advocate Award was presented for the first time five years later.
Both of these awards have been honored for the peacekeepers who have done extraordinary work to include sexual attitudes and empowerment in peace.
In 2000, the Protection Council confirmed the important role of Mahilas in the construction of peace, peace and human assistance through a proposal. Since then the United Nations has tried to include sexual attitudes in peace.
However, in the view of Sharon, implementing sexual attitudes for all peacekeepers can also be a daily risk. “We need to understand the gender equations in our activities, otherwise, we will not be in a position to help properly, we will not be in a position to run the right activities.”
Legality
Zaynab Gabal has seen the influence of peace among the huge destruction created by Sierra Leone itself in his country. He told the UN News, “I have seen people from different regions of the world to establish peace in my country … so I told myself that I would be a peacekeeper one day I would be peaceful – to help other people, the rest to give back this grace.”
Being Zainab, Unisf’s gender police officer, an unprecedented school program and female training network have been created, as well as working with extraordinary creativity to ensure education and learning, enjoyment, enjoyment.
He says, “Now women are ready to work, they are ready to do for themselves, but if they are ready to go to school. Children are ready to go to school, the condition is that peace allows them.”
The future of peace from gender glasses
These awards will be given to both Sharon and Zaynab on the occasion of International Protection Day. This year, this day, member states and UN officials are being asked to consider the future of peace.
In the eyes of both Sharon and Zaynab, the future sexual system of peace and protection cannot be separated from the knot and their empowerment.
Sheron says, “If you do not know what the gender equation is in any case, you do not know who is in charge or powerful, if you do not know who will benefit who will benefit … then you may think that you are providing protection, in reality you are not providing protection.”
Zaynab praised all uniform women while speaking of the award and emphasized the importance of their tireless work in search of peace.
“We all (women) have to face extraordinary challenges in our respective missions, yet our collective goals must maintain the same peace and save the weak.”
