According to Ukraine’s United Nations Human Rights Monitoring Mission, the Russian military targeted the capital Kiev with 397 drones and 18 powerful missiles, where two were killed and 16 were injured.
UN spokesman Stepan Duzarik told reporters on Thursday that four districts of Kiev came to assist the attack, which caused residential buildings, health centers and TV stations to suffer.
Based on the information received from the local administration, he said that nine people were killed and at least five were injured in recent attacks in other areas.
Earlier in June, 212 people were killed and 5 were injured in the attack. This has been the largest number of casualties since the Russian military invaded Ukraine in February 2022.
Destructive attack
In the first six months of 2021, 6,754 people were killed or injured in the first six months. It showed a 5 percent increase in the same period of 2021, while 5,3 ordinary citizens were killed.
Russian military has attacked distance missiles and drones in urban areas. As the destruction of these attacks increases, the number of casualties is increasing.
One of the reasons for this is to jump in the number of attacks and 10 times more attacks in June 2021 than June 2021.
Daniel Bull, head of the UN Monitoring Mission, says the level of ordinary citizens of Ukraine has not been in pain in the last three years.
Children are suffering
UN Children’s Fund (UNICEF) on Thursday said that the percent of Ukraine (about 1 lakh) was victims of 5 percent of children (about 1 lakh), compared to only 5 percent in 2021.
They lack additional services and products and they are far from nutritious diet, appropriate clothing, heat system and education opportunities.
According to UNICEF, one out of every three children is forced to stay in a house where there is no water supply or drainage system. About 50 percent of the kids do not have playgrounds.
The attacks characterized by infrastructure, including water, cleanliness, energy installation, have increased their pain, where schools, homes, health centers have been damaged and poverty has increased.
Regeneration
Meanwhile, the fourth conference has begun to focus on Ukraine’s re -efforts in the Italian capital Rome. Its purpose is to encourage international assistance and investment for the country’s restructuring, reconstruction, improvement and modernization.
Amy Pope, director general of the UN Immigrant Agency (IOM), is also attending the conference, where about 100,000 people are internal displaced. More than 1 million people have taken refuge in European countries.
The IOM chief has said that there are many challenges for Ukraine and the people here because of the displacement at this level. Thus, the efforts that are being made to revive the country, the needs of the common people need to be kept in mind.
“They have to be associated with services, recover their livelihoods, so that it is not limited to returning home, but about getting their place back to society.”
