Ukraine: The month of March was proven to be fatal for ordinary citizens

Daniel Bull, head of the United Nations Human Rights Monitoring Mission (HRMMU), quotes a new monthly report on the Human Rights team, saying, “Last month, long-distance drone attacks have killed many ordinary citizens and injured millions of lives.”

The United Nations Chief of Human Rights approved the mission at the invitation of the Ukrainian government in the 21st, which was aimed at protecting human rights during a rapid violent conflict.

HRMMU reports that about 14 Ukrainian citizens were killed and five were injured in March 2021. Compared to February, the casualties increased by 5 percent. On the other hand, it shows the increase of percent by 5 percent compared to March 2021.

In March, other cities, including the Russian military, were attacked by Dianeipro, Karakov and Sumi, and Dobropilia was also targeted with ammunition, resulting in casualties.

Crivia Rih, about 655 km from the front front of the fight, was one of the most affected areas, where people had to face five waves of Russian attacks. About six civilians were killed and 66 were injured in the attack.

About 29 medical and 50 academic centers were damaged in the attack by the Russian Armed Forces last month, and two medical centers and 6 educational facilities were completely broken.

Stress

HRMMU Chief Bull said, “The hospital has special protection under the international humanitarian law and they should not be attacked.”

Bholkar, the head of the United Nations human rights, points out that the attack is banned under international humanitarian law. He emphasized that the alert had to distinguish between military and civic institutions.

Ukraine’s UN Human Rights Office has said that the Russian armed forces continued to attack Ukrainian cities in April.

Referring to the April 7 attack, Human Rights Head Turk said, “It is unimaginable,” where there was a ballistic missile on the playground. The attack was killed by nine civilians, including nine children.

Residential buildings were damaged in the new attack on Wednesday in East Ukraine and many citizens were injured. Currently, assistance workers are present to evaluate the needs of the affected population.

“The people of Ukraine are entitled to live a life of life free from violence,” said Ocha, Ukraine’s Assistance Coordination Office.
