Uddhav Thackeray's helicopter re-checked

Mumbai The helicopter of former Maharashtra Chief Minister and Shiv Sena (UBT) supremo Uddhav Thackeray was checked for the second time in 24 hours. Uddhav had gone to campaign at Ausa seat in Osmanabad on Tuesday. During this time, Election Commission employees checked his helicopter. A day before this, on Monday, November 11, his bag was checked at Wani Airport in Yavatmal. Uddhav Thackeray was angry over the action of the Election Commission.

He said on Tuesday- Last time when PM Modi’s helicopter was searched, an officer was suspended in Odisha. You checked my bag, no problem, but Modi and Shah’s bags should also be checked. Uddhav made a video of officers checking bags and shared it on social media. He said- Check my bag. If you want, you can also check my urine pot, but now I want a video of you guys checking Modi’s bag. Don’t bend your tail there. I am releasing this video.

Later, on Uddhav Thackeray’s allegations, the Election Commission said – during the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, the helicopters of prominent leaders of the ruling party BJP were searched. On April 24, 2024, the helicopter of BJP National President JP Nadda was searched in Bhagalpur district of Bihar and on April 21, 2024, the helicopter of Union Home Minister Amit Shah was searched in Katihar district of Bihar.
