Big suspense even after election results

In Maharashtra, there is more suspense after the election results than there is about the election results. From Mumbai to Delhi, there is news of betting on how the parties will do politics after the elections. In this, the suspense is highest regarding Uddhav Thackeray, Eknath Shinde and Ajit Pawar. If Mahavikas Aghadi government is formed, Uddhav Thackeray has to become the Chief Minister at any cost. He knows that if the government is formed and he does not become the Chief Minister, the party’s politics will suffer permanent damage. He cannot do politics by making his son Aditya Thackeray the Deputy Chief Minister. Like Bala Saheb Thackeray, he cannot keep his party out of the government because all his leaders want a share in power. That is why it is being said that if Congress becomes the largest party in the alliance and insists for the Chief Minister, then Uddhav Thackeray can consider another option.

The same thing is being said about Eknath Shinde. His party has declared him as the Chief Minister candidate. His party’s Rajya Sabha MP Milind Deora has said that if Mahayuti wins, it is 100 percent certain that Shinde will be the CM. On the other hand, senior BJP leaders have said that the Chief Minister has not been decided. Its decision will be taken after the results. If BJP does not make Shinde the CM after the results, then everyone’s eyes will be on what he will do and what his MLAs will do. If BJP is unable to form a coalition government and Uddhav gets a chance in Mahavikas Aghadi, then it will not take any time for Shinde’s winning MLAs to join him. Similar is the situation of Ajit Pawar. His chances of becoming the Chief Minister have become zero because his party is contesting on 50 seats, out of which it would be a big thing if it wins even 20 seats. Then what will be their politics after the results and what will their MLAs do is also a big suspense. 16 BJP leaders are fighting from the party of Eknath Shinde and Ajit Pawar. If these two leaders go back and forth then the winning BJP leaders will take their own path.
