Delhi is now the capital of gangsters

If asked which is the most flourishing business in India, then one possible answer could be to form a gang and similarly, what has the maximum employment opportunities, then the answer could be to become a shooter. The capital of India seems to have become the capital of gangsters and it seems that every second or third person is a shooter of some gang or the other. Every day the name of a new gang and a new gangster is published in the newspapers and its profile is published like the profile of a company. It tells about the exploits that the gangster has committed, how many cases are pending against him, in which jail he is currently lodged or in which country he is living and it also mentions how many shooters he has, who are there. At one signal from him one can open fire on anyone. The gang with more than seven hundred shooters is the largest at present. But there are many gangs with a hundred, two hundred shooters. These shooters are such who do not have any criminal record. This is their only qualification.

Almost every day in the capital Delhi, there is news of firing somewhere and threats of extortion somewhere. Don’t know whether the real boss i.e. the gangster knows or not, but threatening calls are being made to people in his name. Pappu Yadav, an MP from Bihar, has received threats from different places thrice. Brand new people are making threats in the name of a gang boss to please him. It also happens that in order to make a name for himself, someone shoots or murders someone and later some big gangster takes the responsibility for it. A huge group of unemployed youth is roaming in metropolitan cities like Delhi and Mumbai, due to which gangsters are easily getting raw material. They are luring the youth by luring them with money and a life of luxury and putting pistols in their hands. Those who murdered Baba Siddiqui in Mumbai were promised cash, flats and a trip to Dubai. Most of the youth caught there do not have any criminal record.
